Who We Are

We are a third generation, family owned and operated business. Since 1957 our family has been providing welding services and trailer repair.

  • Gearhart J. Fellows

    FOUNDER

After serving in the U.S. Army, Gary began fixing things for neighbors and friends as a hobby while working full time for the county road commission. Eventually he began making utility trailers known for their quality and heavy duty design. Trailers he built are still brought in for regular maintenance. Gary is still a regular at the shop, helping with lawncare and hanging out when he has the time.

  • Lee M. Fellows

    OWNER - FABRICATOR

Lee took ownership in 2008 after working as a structural steel welder and shop foreman at Johnson Steel. His experience helped expand into custom smokers and outdoor woodstoves. As a kid he was expected to work in the shop after school along with his brothers, while their pay was minimal, the experience they received was irreplaceable. If Lee isn’t at the shop he is outback playing with grandkids.

  • Nathan L. Fellows

    WELDER - MECHANIC

After serving in the Navy, Nathan returned home to spend more time with family. His experience as a Nuclear Machinists Mate and Aviation Machinists Mate has provided him with a different perspective on maintenance and shop operations. Along with his brothers he grew up playing in the scrap piles behind the shop and as a teen he worked at the shop after school and in the summer. His goal is to continue the family legacy and improve the processes we currently have in place.
